About

This site serves two purposes; first it accounts for the scientific activity of Lars Bungum, and second, it allows said researcher an opportunity to express thoughts that are not directly linked to his professional duties. NTNU maintains a page on Lars Bungum, which accounts for tangibles. There is even a picture of me there.

For blog entries, I will use categories to separate them. There are localization initiatives for Quarto, and using them is not ruled out. For now, however, this is will suffice, according to the principles outlined in Anita Krohn Traaseth’s 2015 book (no offense intended).

The website is built with Quarto in RStudio. It is intended to be simplistic. Comments are handled by Hypothes.is. Please consult their website for information on how they handle cookies, should you choose to use the system. The website is written it in Markdown, the whole thing is just flat text files. I do not use any analytics software, nor do I have any desire to track you. If someone good at design has tips for improvements in stylesheets or thus like, I am all ears (but I don’t see that coming).
